Top Products for Your Laser Business

After tons of requests, we've compiled a list of our favorite laser engraving products!

1. Our Favorite Wood Sheets

After ordering a wide variety of wood from different resellers, this particular product is the one I continue to come back to time and time again. The quality is very good and the price is reasonable.

2. Stop Shaking your Paint Pens!

As some of you might already know based on previous blog posts, I am VERY particular about my paint pens. I like them to cover well, last a long time, and do not require shaking. These fit the bill without too high of a price tag. Trust me on these.

3. Paint/Glue Containers

For those of you that are interested in cutting wood and selling paint kits, this one is for you. These empty containers can be cut apart, and generally one will provide enough glue for the pre-packaged product.

4. Paint & Brushes for Selling Paint Kits

Share information about your brand with your customers. Describe a product, make announcements, or welcome customers to your store.

5. Glue Applicators

This one is a TOTAL game-changer. Spreading glue can be a real pain and when I was first getting started, I found myself throwing away whatever I attempted to spread the glue with. Then I found these. You can use them to apply glue and then put them down and forget about them until you need them again! No need to wash them. The glue dries and hardens and comes right off with ease.

6. Finally...a Glue that Actually Holds

Let's discuss glue for a minute. This one was a lot of trial and error for me. In the end, this one was the winner. Obviously, it depends on the type of project and material you are planning to use, but for wood, I have found this to be the best. It holds extremely well and what I love about it vs. something like a fast-dry Gorilla Glue is that you have a minute to actually adjust your pieces before they are stuck forever.

7. Fast Drying Oil-Based Polyurethane

I use two kinds of poly depending on what the need is. This oil-based poly is great for sealing wood at the very end. However, you never want to coat your wood in this and then send it through the laser, as that is a fire hazard. See below for solution.
